This painting challenged me to experiment with a new color palette, incorporating earthy tones with a hint of blue that I couldn’t resist. The Catalpa wood grain is stunning, and my goal was to blend my creativity with its natural beauty. The large scale of the piece allows the fluidity of the wood grain and its unique textures to truly come to life, creating an energetic, flowing composition.
