What the Wood Reveals presents a collection of oil paintings on wood that explore the imagery, movement, and beauty found within the wood itself. Each painting embraces the unique features of the grain, live edges, knots, and other markings, using them to inspire landscapes, botanical forms, and abstract compositions.
The exhibition invites viewers to slow down and look closely, discovering the subtle patterns, textures, and rhythms that often go unnoticed in the natural world. Through layers of oil paint, the work reveals the beauty and imagery that can emerge from the natural forms around us.
On view September 25 through November 15, 2026 Artist Reception: Saturday, October 10th 1:00-3:00pm. Come to see the art and meet the artist in person.
