In this piece, I challenged myself to explore new color palettes, seeking to capture the warm and vibrant hues of a sunset. From rich oranges and soft pinks to deep purples, the colors reflect the tranquil yet powerful beauty of the setting sun. The natural grain of the Elm wood became a guiding force, directing the flow of the composition and creating a sense of harmony. This painting evokes a feeling of calm, inviting the viewer to pause and reflect on the peaceful transition from day to night.
