As a child, I often created drawings for my family, incorporating each person’s favorite color into my artwork. My Grandpa’s favorite color was Sky Blue Pink—one that didn’t exist in the crayon box, but could be found by blending and building colors together. This color became a cherished memory, and whenever my family sees a sunrise or sunset in those hues, we capture it in a photo to share with one another in his memory.
